Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning and preparation of menus, including ordering and stock control.
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards and that the team is motivated and well-trained.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with the training and development of junior staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and concepts, working closely with the Head Chef and other members of the kitchen team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
