Job Title: Kitchen Sous Chef

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Sous Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume leadership of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless service and efficient operations.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement strategies for improving kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Develop and train kitchen staff to achieve high standards of product quality and presentation.
  • Manage staff rotas to optimize labor costs and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Implement effective stock management, minimizing waste and ensuring accurate portion control.
  • Contribute to achieving financial targets, working closely with the General Manager to drive business growth.
  • Process invoices, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely payment.
  • Assist in ordering stock, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked with high-quality goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to stock rotation and temperature control procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
