Tyre and Wheel Technician

Are you passionate about vehicles and their components, seeking a fulfilling role in the Automotive sector?

SYNETIQ is currently in search of a Tyre and Wheel Technician to enhance our operations.

Role Overview:

The primary focus of this position is to support the daily operations involved in the processing and upkeep of wheels and tyres that are fit for resale or recycling. Our dedicated team ensures that all tyres are properly repaired, fitted, and sold to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Balancing wheels to ensure optimal performance


• Repairing tyre punctures effectively


• Evaluating wheels on a balancer to confirm they are undamaged and suitable for resale


• Cleaning wheels and gathering necessary specifications, including Manufacturer, width, diameter, and stock number


• Entering data into our system to generate relevant identification tags


• Capturing images of wheels and organizing them in designated storage areas


• Processing online sales orders and coordinating with dispatch for courier preparation.


• Assisting in Counter Sales by engaging with customers directly.


• Complying with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:


• Previous experience in a similar position involving wheels and tyres is preferred


• Ability to perform tasks efficiently and competently


• Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a dynamic team


• Strong communication abilities


• Capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while multitasking


• Must be able to lift and manage heavy items safely


• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

This position is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, including DBS, Finance, Right to Work, and references.
