We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team at Dawsongroup. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance of commercial vans and other company equipment
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Preparing accurate and timely written reports on all maintenance and repair work
  • Reporting defective tools or workshop equipment to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensuring that all work is completed safely and in accordance with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or similar qualification in motor vehicle technology
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
  • Good working knowledge of tyres and health and safety practices
  • Ability to work alone and manage your own time
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clean driving licence (highly desirable)
