Tyre and Wheel Technician

SYNETIQ is on the lookout for a dedicated Tyre and Wheel Technician to enhance our operations.

The Role:

The primary objective of this position is to support the daily operations involved in the processing and upkeep of wheels and tyres that are fit for resale or recycling. This team guarantees that our tyres are expertly repaired, fitted, and sold to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Wheel balancing


• Puncture repairs


• Assessing wheels on a balancer to ensure they are undamaged and suitable for resale


• Cleaning wheels and gathering the necessary specifications, including manufacturer details, width, diameter, and stock number


• Entering data into our system to generate relevant identification tags


• Capturing images of wheels and organizing them in designated locations


• Managing online sales orders and coordinating with dispatch for courier collection.


• Assisting with counter sales and providing face-to-face customer service.


• Complying with health and safety regulations

What You Bring:


• Experience in a similar role dealing with wheels and tyres is preferred


• Ability to work efficiently and competently


• Capability to function independently or as part of a dynamic team


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively


• Must be capable of lifting and handling heavy items safely


• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
