IT Operations Manager – Permanent – Lancaster

Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for an IT Operations Manager on a permanent basis for our prestigious local business based in the heart of Lancaster.

Location: Lancaster (This role will be on site 3 days per week)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum D.O.E

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the businesses core applications, ensuring the availability, performance and change requests are fit for purpose
  2. Manage the extensive 3rd party vendor network the business currently operates with
  3. Develop the digital strategy in conjunction with the Head of IT
  4. Ensure a high performing Infrastructure/IT Team is fit for purpose
  5. Develop the internal IT staff to ensure strong career progression and development opportunities within
  6. Deal with high level stakeholders on a regular basis to provide performance and business updates
  7. Maintain and update the IT Policies and Procedures regularly
  8. In conjunction with the Head of IT produce a long term roadmap for developing the internal applications within the IT estate

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience within a similar role
  2. Strong service delivery experience, including multiple projects in parallel
  3. Management of small Infrastructure/IT teams
  4. Roadmap architecture
  5. Extensive Stakeholder Management
  6. Experience of working with multiple 3rd party vendors
