Working Pattern: Onsite, 5/7 rota working two weekends out of three 1:45pm-10:15pm
Job Summary
MandM Direct, one of the biggest employers in Herefordshire and a leading online, off-price retailer, is seeking a talented Team Leader to join our growing Replenishment department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of VNA and Shunter Drivers, as well as Replen warehouse operatives, to ensure seamless inventory management and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high productivity and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and output metrics to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Ensure a safe working environment by monitoring and reporting on health and safety incidents, near misses, and absence/appraisal management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience of responsibility in a work environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to lead by example.
