Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Manager with a strong product focus to elevate our sales team's effectiveness by utilizing comprehensive product insights. This pivotal role will serve as a vital link between our cutting-edge software solutions and the distinct requirements of our clients in the pharmaceutical, clinical, and healthcare industries. The successful candidate will embody our dedication to precision medicine and healthcare advancement by providing our sales team with the essential tools, training, and resources necessary to thrive in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-Depth Product Knowledge: Acquire a thorough understanding of our software solutions, emphasizing their application for pharmaceutical companies and CROs in research and clinical trials, as well as for clinics and hospitals in decision-making support.
  • Sales Team Development: Design and execute a robust sales enablement strategy that includes frequent, detailed training sessions on product features, advantages, and real-world applications tailored to each market segment, particularly focusing on the business development team.
  • Tailored Sales Resources: Develop customized sales materials that tackle the specific challenges and opportunities within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, facilitating effective communication of our value proposition to potential clients.
  • Consultative Sales Process Enhancement: Refine the consultative sales approach to better engage potential clients, utilizing extensive product knowledge to address particular pain points and showcase measurable ROI.
  • Feedback Mechanism Implementation: Establish a system for gathering, analyzing, and responding to feedback from both the sales team and clients, ensuring that insights directly influence product development and sales strategies.
  • Proposal Customization Oversight: Manage the proposal development process, ensuring that proposals are meticulously tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of each client, based on a profound understanding of the two distinct market segments.
  • Innovation Integration: Investigate and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to improve sales workflows, including advanced tools for contract issuance and management.

Importance of This Role:

  • Tackling Sales Challenges: By enhancing the sales team's product knowledge and equipping them with tailored sales resources and training, you will directly address prolonged sales cycles and transform the consultative sales process into a competitive edge.
  • Maximizing Product Market Fit: With your product's significant market alignment, this role will ensure that sales strategies are closely integrated with product capabilities and market demands, amplifying your impact across target segments.
  • Strengthening Feedback Loops: Regular, structured interactions between sales and product teams will create a more robust feedback loop, ensuring that product development is closely aligned with market needs and sales experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally a combination of engineering and commercial/sales background.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience at the intersection of product and sales processes within Technology SaaS Startups or Scaleups.
  • Highly tech-savvy with a data-driven sales approach, proficient in CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, or demonstrating effective use of similar sales tools.
  • A strong interest and proficiency in utilizing product development tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and generative AI tools to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • A comprehensive understanding of software development, products, and SaaS business models, with an appreciation for Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, skilled in crafting and delivering engaging training sessions and sales materials.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player.
  • Must be a resident of a European country and open to freelance opportunities if not based in Switzerland.

What We Offer:

  • An opportunity to be part of an exceptional team driving innovation in healthcare.
  • A competitive salary within a supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in an international context.
  • A culture of collaboration and inclusion, which is fundamental to our ethos.
  • Occasional travel to our headquarters, immersing you in our core operations and company culture.
