About the Role:
The Education Specialists is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Wythenshawe School. As a key member of our SEN provision, you will be responsible for leading a small team and delivering high-quality provision to our most vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of teaching assistants to deliver high-quality provision to children with a range of needs
- Work closely with the SENDCO and KS1 Lead to plan and deliver lessons
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support children's learning and development
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective provision
- Contribute to the ongoing journey of making the curriculum more meaningful and beneficial for both staff and pupils
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong leadership and management skills
