About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our SEND provision in Wythenshawe. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality provision to our most vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of teaching assistants to deliver high-quality provision to children with SEND
  • Work closely with the SENDCO and KS1 Lead to plan and deliver lessons
  • Develop and implement strategies to support children with a range of needs
  • Collaborate with the partner teacher in the Foundation Hub class to ensure seamless provision
  • Contribute to the ongoing journey of making the curriculum more meaningful and beneficial for both staff and pupils
Requirements
  • Motivated and passionate about working with SEND children
  • Confident and able to direct others and take the lead
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with the opportunity to work between 3 and 5 days per week. The position is advertised as fixed-term, but there is potential for it to become permanent in the future.
