Job Title: Healthcare Assistants

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring
  • Supporting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and slings
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to service users

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for day shifts)

Desirable Skills:

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation Management
  • Oral suctioning
  • Nebuliser Care
  • Enteral Feeding
  • Bowel Care
  • Catheter Care
  • Epilepsy & Seizure management

Working Hours:

  • Part Time
  • Days – Shifts between 7.00am – 7.00pm
  • Nights – Shifts between 7.00pm – 7.00am
