Operations Manager

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our project team in Thames Valley, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of contracts, promoting a positive safety culture, and leading project teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and lead the safety, health, and environmental culture, ensuring all works are carried out in a planned, controlled, and safe manner.
- Manage the efficient and economical execution of contracts, producing maximum return to the company.
- Lead and develop risk management for projects, ensuring it is cascaded to all project levels and the supply chain.
- Undertake line management responsibilities for project staff, ensuring effective management, performance reviews, and agreed learning plans.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, encouraging diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experience.
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Construction or related field.
- Professionally qualified or working towards a membership of a Professional Body.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card holder and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
- Excellent management and communication skills, with the ability to proactively manage production teams and deliver quality projects within budget and programme timescales.
- Knowledge of contract conditions and law within the industry.
