Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our project team in Thames Valley, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and economical execution of contracts, promoting a safety-first culture, and leading project teams to deliver high-quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and lead the safety, health, and environmental culture, ensuring all works are carried out in a planned, controlled, and safe manner.
- Manage contracts under the main contract conditions, producing the maximum return to the company and promoting ongoing and future work with clients and consultants.
- Lead and develop risk management for projects, ensuring this is cascaded to all project levels and the supply chain as necessary.
- Undertake line management responsibilities for project staff, ensuring each staff member is effectively managed, with agreed learning plans in place and able to carry out duties as assigned.
- Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experience is actively encouraged and achieved.
- Degree/HND in Construction or a related field.
- Professionally qualified or working towards a membership of a Professional Body.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card holder and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
- Excellent management and communication skills, with the ability to proactively manage production teams on several live construction sites at any one time.
- Knowledge of contract conditions and law within the industry.
