We are seeking a highly skilled Legislative Affairs Manager to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. This is a remote, hybrid position that requires full-time, exempt work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective legislative affairs strategy for the organization, monitoring local, state, and federal legislation and regulations, and advising executive leadership accordingly.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an effective legislative affairs strategy for the organization
- Monitor local, state, and federal legislation and regulations that impact the organization
- Advise executive leadership on legislative and regulatory matters
- Serve as the agency's liaison with elected officials and their staff to support constituent and agency needs
- Participate in relevant committees and working groups
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in legislative affairs or a related field are required.
