Our Experience Design & Research team is responsible for modernizing and transforming digital services and client experiences. We are a collaborative group of Product Designers, Researchers, and Data Analysts who strive to elevate the user experience across all platforms.

About the Role: Lead Product Designer - Client Experience

We are seeking a talented Lead Product Designer to join our London-based team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Phillips' client-facing digital experiences. You will lead and collaborate on projects that enhance the interconnected journeys clients take across our website, applications, and auction services.

  • Design Excellence: You will set the design direction for projects within the client browsing experience, contributing to our evolving design system and elevating the overall quality of our work.
  • Holistic User Experience: Lead and collaborate on enhancing the seamless journeys clients take across our website, applications, and auction services, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
  • Client Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our clients' needs and business requirements, mastering the intricacies of auctions and client dynamics.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Define the storytelling, messaging, and collateral needed to communicate the value of our work in progress, updates, and prototypes to diverse audiences. Design workshops, engage stakeholders, and coach others in design thinking techniques.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning and management of your projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with team members.
  • Research & Prototyping: Conduct user research independently or in partnership with our Research & Data teams. Create prototypes and test user experiences to inform design decisions.
  • Product Thinking: Partner with Product Managers to define the mechanics of complex product topics, linking dependencies across projects, and advocating for a user-centric approach.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers to continuously improve delivery processes, ensuring design details, user experience, and accuracy are implemented effectively.
