Job Overview

Sinclair is seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Manager to lead our tax compliance and strategy efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance, overseeing transfer pricing arrangements, and engaging in strategic tax planning across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including preparing annual UK corporation tax returns and monthly/quarterly VAT returns for the UK and other European territories.
  • Oversee transfer pricing arrangements, including reviewing transfer pricing policy and maintaining transfer pricing documentation.
  • Engage in strategic tax planning, including preparing an annual tax cashflow forecast and identifying and mitigating tax risks.
  • Provide first-line in-house support for tax queries from across the group and manage relationships with HMRC.


Requirements

  • Extensive experience with UK corporation tax and a solid understanding of transfer pricing concepts.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and its application to taxation for effective tax planning and compliance.
  • Experience working in an international group tax environment with strong technical tax knowledge.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and assess the tax impact of decisions.
