Job Description

Michelle Denny Recruitment is collaborating with a leading manufacturing company to find an experienced Technical Manager to join their team.

The company specializes in designing and producing high-quality plastic injection-moulded products for various industries. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Manager to help shape the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to Production and Quality departments, and provide technical input in the preparation of quotations, liaising with the customer, toolmaker, and suppliers.
  • Actively generate and implement projects to improve the cost effectiveness of the business, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuously improve and streamline manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality, minimizing waste and costs.
  • Develop and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the highest product quality and consistency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, implementing new methods and materials to keep the company at the forefront of plastic moulding innovation.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Quality and Production.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in plastic manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic moulding processes and associated technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate technical personnel effectively.
