Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at a prestigious college in Oxford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for running a busy section in the kitchen, producing high-quality meals for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our students and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a school or hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for cooking and commitment to producing high-quality food.
  • Valid enhanced DBS certificate.
