The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Store Operations Leader with previous management experience and a genuine enthusiasm for the children's clothing industry, as we broaden our retail presence. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience both in-store and online, encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities such as:
- Overseeing daily store operations, which includes managing a team, ensuring adequate staffing for all operational hours, handling inventory, maintaining the aesthetic of the sales area, and managing deliveries.
- Driving the achievement of store sales objectives by training, motivating, and mentoring team members.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Managing store administration and adhering to internal policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Upholding outstanding visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
- Monitoring and reporting on purchasing trends, customer preferences, and key performance indicators.
- Addressing and resolving any store-related issues that arise from team members or customers promptly.
- Implementing effective stock and inventory management practices.
- Collaborating with head office teams on product development, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Leading the successful recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Candidate Profile
About You
- Demonstrated success as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- A genuine passion for and interest in the baby and children's apparel sector.
- Strong leadership and training capabilities.
- Proficient in sales and customer relationship management.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
