The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Store Operations Leader with previous management experience and a genuine enthusiasm for the children's clothing industry, as we broaden our retail presence. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience both in-store and online, encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities such as:

  • Overseeing daily store operations, which includes managing a team, ensuring adequate staffing for all operational hours, handling inventory, maintaining the aesthetic of the sales area, and managing deliveries.
  • Driving the achievement of store sales objectives by training, motivating, and mentoring team members.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Managing store administration and adhering to internal policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Upholding outstanding visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
  • Monitoring and reporting on purchasing trends, customer preferences, and key performance indicators.
  • Addressing and resolving any store-related issues that arise from team members or customers promptly.
  • Implementing effective stock and inventory management practices.
  • Collaborating with head office teams on product development, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives.
  • Leading the successful recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

Candidate Profile

About You

  • Demonstrated success as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • A genuine passion for and interest in the baby and children's apparel sector.
  • Strong leadership and training capabilities.
  • Proficient in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
