Customs Clearance Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at WR Logistics. As a leading recruitment partner for the logistics industry, we are committed to finding the best talent for our clients.

About the Role:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Check data provided by customers against required sources and advise on potential errors.
  • Create job files, enter data accurately into customs software, and use customs software to create import export declarations.
  • Track and monitor declaration status, effectively and efficiently dealing with queries and concerns.
  • Provide support and guidance on all the latest customs procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years working for a UK-based Freight Forwarder or Customs Broker.
  • Customs qualifications and previous experience working with customs entries, CDS.
  • Experience as a Customs Coordinator or equivalent.
  • HMRC Compliance Knowledge is desirable.
