Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children and Young People Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, education, and well-being of children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each child are met.
- Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of children and young people.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a care or support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting the well-being and independence of children and young people.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of children and young people.
