Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children and Young People's Advocate to join our team at Victim Support. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist support to children and young people living in families affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a caseload of different risk level cases of young people and provide specialist support to reduce the risk and increase safety.
  • Provide one-to-one support to children and young people, working collaboratively with other support services to achieve the best outcomes for the family unit.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments to ensure children and young people receive an individually tailored support package that meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional, and practical support.
