Overview of the Senior Programme Coordinator Role

Position: Senior Programme Coordinator

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Programme Director, with responsibilities to act in their stead as needed.

Key Locations: Various locations with a requirement for regular travel.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide delivery teams and personnel.
  • Offer strategic direction, counsel, and mentorship on programme execution.
  • Exemplify leadership by driving outcomes and nurturing a positive workplace culture.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective performance management while advocating for Diversity and Inclusion.

  • Support the Programme Director in their duties.

Programme Management Duties:

  • Track programme advancement, clarify goals, and synchronize activities.
  • Address challenges and enhance delivery outcomes.
  • Provide reports on programme metrics including time, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Participate in budget planning and financial assessments.
  • Deliver strategic insights and assistance to the Programme Director.
  • Ensure the proficient application of programme management methodologies.
  • Develop and evaluate business proposals and benefit realization strategies.
