Overview of the Senior Programme Coordinator Role

Position: Senior Programme Coordinator

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Programme Director with responsibilities to act in their stead.

Key Locations: Various locations with frequent travel requirements.

  • Oversee and guide delivery teams and personnel.
  • Offer strategic direction, advice, and mentorship in programme management.
  • Exemplify leadership by driving outcomes and fostering a positive organizational culture.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Implement performance management strategies while promoting Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Enhance team skills through comprehensive development plans.
  • Ensure adherence to mandatory training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Motivate and engage teams across various entities.
  • Support and stand in for the Programme Director as needed.
  • Recruit and manage team members effectively.

Programme Management Duties:

  • Track programme advancement, clarify goals, and synchronize activities.
  • Address challenges and enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Provide reports on programme metrics including time, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Contribute to financial planning and budget approvals.
  • Deliver strategic insights and assistance to the Programme Director.
  • Ensure the effective application of programme management methodologies.
  • Develop and evaluate business cases and benefit realization strategies.

Experience Required:
