About the Role:
This part-time, term-time role will involve working with children, young people, and their families in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools, health centers, and community bases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the 0-19 service, working in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services.
- Deliver services to children and families within schools and community settings, including public health-related care and health promotion activities.
- Work with the 0-19 teams in the locality and support locality-wide work where needed for school-aged children and young people.
- Participate in safeguarding processes and meetings, adhering to Safeguarding policies and working under the supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.
Requirements:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Community Health Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and young people. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
