Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability. They will also be responsible for dealing with incoming customer queries, providing advice and solutions, and undertaking outbound activity to help identify and target new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to maintain profitability
  • Deal with incoming customer queries and provide advice and solutions
  • Undertake outbound activity to identify and target new customers
  • Work closely with and support the external sales team
  • Administer sales orders and quotations, ensuring customer expectations are met and excellent communication is maintained
  • Process sales and purchases through the Sage accounts system
  • Procure goods and services to obtain the best pricing for the customer and business
  • Update orders on the system and inform customers of any amendments
  • Ensure all relevant information regarding delivery times, code numbers, and requirements for Certificate of Conformity are correct
  • Support the external sales function from quotations through to purchasing

Requirements:

  • Recent Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • 3 years of industry/product/role experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to spot other opportunities with the client
  • Account management/customer service to a high level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts sales and purchases
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Fluency in Italian is an advantage
