Job Title: Environmental Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join our Mechanical and Climatic Test Department. As an Environmental Test Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering complex test campaigns on MBDA UK Missile Programmes, applying cutting-edge equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test campaigns to ensure the reliability and performance of missile systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test plans and procedures
  • Operate and maintain complex test equipment, including vibration control systems and environmental chambers
  • Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or physics
  • Proven experience in environmental testing, including vibration and thermal testing
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
