Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join our Mechanical and Climatic Test Department. As an Environmental Test Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering complex test campaigns on defence programmes, applying cutting-edge equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver varied and complex test campaigns on defence programmes
  • Apply cutting-edge equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality test results
  • Work closely with other teams to conduct functional testing, equipment maintenance, and test planning
  • Ensure all testing is conducted to the required standard for missile development and qualification

Requirements:

  • Good problem-solving skills and a sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical structures and analysis
  • IT competence, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable experience leading or working as a team in the delivery of projects
  • Previous experience using Siemens Testlab vibration control equipment or other automated mechanical test systems
