About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team at Haileybury, a leading independent school in Australia. As a Psychologist - Student Wellbeing, you will play a critical role in promoting the mental health and wellbeing of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a whole-school approach to student wellbeing, focusing on building resilience and connectedness.
  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students, as well as psychoeducational assessments and staff professional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Maintain high professional standards and adhere to relevant codes, guidelines, and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing.
  • Participate in regular peer supervision sessions to ensure ongoing professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Accredited Master's Degree in Psychology.
  • Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).
  • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interpret data and write reports.
