We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Retail Sales Associates to become part of The Entertainer team.

Our collaboration with Tesco enhances the shopping experience for customers looking for a diverse selection of toy brands.

In this role, you will manage your own toy sections within our distinctive Entertainer branded area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by maintaining well-stocked and accurately priced shelves, while also being available to address any inquiries related to toys with your growing expertise.

With the support and guidance of your remote Entertainer Manager, you will be equipped to perform key tasks such as organizing stock, restocking the department, pricing items, and executing promotional activities, all while keeping the toy selection current and plentiful.

Bringing a positive attitude and a strong work ethic will be essential in this unique position, where self-motivation, initiative, and pride in your work are crucial attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Hours - Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm is essential.
  • Contract Availability – 12 hours per week.
  • Shift patterns and days will vary but will be communicated in advance.
  • Overtime opportunities may be available.

  • Reliability and Dependability – Punctuality for your shifts is a must. You should be capable of working independently and completing tasks without supervision, using your initiative to create an inviting department.
  • Practicality and Flexibility – You will be working autonomously to manage deliveries and should be adaptable with shift patterns and overtime. Quick thinking is vital for success in this role.
  • Enthusiasm and Confidence – You should feel comfortable engaging with management at both The Entertainer and Tesco, and have a passion for your work.
  • Tech Savvy and Responsible – You will be expected to use company equipment appropriately and maintain communication with your Line Manager through various platforms.
  • Openness and Honesty – Maintain clear communication with your Line Manager and colleagues, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Confidence and Decisiveness – You should be able to communicate effectively and respond positively to changes.
  • Passion and Knowledge – Engage with customers by sharing your insights and providing excellent advice about our products.

Your Key Duties Will Include:

  • Organizing merchandise, managing deliveries, restocking items, and overseeing pricing.
  • Conducting initial checks at the start of your shift for pricing accuracy, stock availability, and overall presentation standards.
  • Restocking your section, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and your Line Manager.
  • Engaging with customers in the aisles, initiating conversations, and encouraging sales through your impressive toy knowledge.
