Key Responsibilities
- Assess, care, and treat individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors in the community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
- Provide education and support to service users, carers, and other professionals on topics related to learning disabilities, mental health, and challenging behaviors.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and services.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to learning disabilities and mental health.
