Invigilators Required for Schools in North London

GSL Education is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to support the Lead Invigilator/Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of examinations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment, and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Verify that clocks are displaying the correct time.
  • Direct candidates to their seats and advise them about permitted possessions before the start of examinations.
  • Ensure candidates do not engage in conversation once inside the examination venue.
  • Invigilate during examinations, address candidate queries, and handle irregularities in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Check attendance registers during examinations.
  • Record details of late arrivals and irregularities.
  • Accompany candidates from venues during examinations as required, supervise candidates outside examination venues in clash situations.
  • Collect and collate scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Supervise candidates leaving examination venues, ensuring they do not remove equipment or stationery without authorization and exit venues in an orderly and quiet manner.
