Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Practitioner to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a Digital Forensics Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting digital forensic investigations, collecting and analyzing digital evidence, and providing strategic direction for digital forensic techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct digital forensic investigations, including collection and analysis of digital evidence
  • Provide strategic direction for digital forensic techniques in the recovery, processing, and reporting of evidence
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with colleagues and external bodies
  • Draft and review documents, including witness statements, statutory notices, and technical reports
  • Participate in the development of digital forensic tools and techniques
Requirements
  • Proven experience in digital forensic investigations and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of digital forensic tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
