Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Finance team in ensuring the Group's monthly financial position and performance is accurately reported. This will involve leading R2R process improvements projects, reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial information for the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in delivering R2R process improvements projects to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review and reconcile month-end balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the preparation of financial information for the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team, including variance analysis and budgeting.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Support the wider business in all areas of operational finance, including financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar chartered accountant qualification).
  • Proven experience of data manipulation and modelling using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Board and non-financial individuals alike.
  • Previous experience of finance improvement projects and change management.
