Role Overview:
- Oversee the Independent Validation of the Internal Model and provide second line supervision of model risk.
- Assist in the Chief Risk Officer's evaluation of the ongoing suitability of the Internal Model.
- Conduct reviews of Internal Model components and manage Model Risk.
- Report directly to the Head of Internal Model Oversight.
Main Responsibilities:
- Execute Independent Validation of the Internal Model for CLFIS Limited.
- Support second line review processes and deliver Risk Opinions.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders concerning the Internal Model.
- Participate in Internal Model governance committees.
- Maintain documentation related to Internal Model Standards.
Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
- Background in the life insurance sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of Solvency II regulations.
- Familiarity with model risk and risk oversight functions.
- Proficient report writing and communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to perform under pressure.
- Experience in engaging with senior leadership and nurturing relationships.
- Self-driven and well-organized individual.
