Senior Trade Control Analyst - Commodities Trading

Marlin Selection Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trade Control Analyst to join a leading commodity trading firm in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Affirm trades, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure seamless trade execution.
  • Coordinate trade amendments with traders and support teams to guarantee proper review and authorization.
  • Manage static and reference data in the ETRM system to maintain data integrity.
  • Assist with trade negotiations, compressions, terminations, and monthly reporting for the executive committee.
  • Evaluate and improve operational processes to mitigate risk and automate tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a middle office/back office/trade control role in a commodities/energy trading environment.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, including booking, amendment, contracts, and settlements.
  • Knowledge and interest in GB Power trading (products, market, etc.).
