Become a vital part of Ashurst:

This role is integral to the global e-billing finance team operating from Glasgow.

The e-billing team is responsible for the prompt and precise submission of electronic invoices for offices across the UK and EMEA regions.

In this position, you will support senior e-billing analysts by entering and managing data within the appropriate systems/platforms to ensure accurate invoice processing and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor and timekeeper details within e-billing platforms.
  • Coordinate with the rates team to integrate new client rates into the 3E system.
  • Handle fee arrangements in external e-billing systems and ensure reconciliation with 3E.
  • Implement updates to mitigate invoice rejections.
  • Communicate Outside Counsel Guidelines effectively.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new e-billing clients.
  • Maintain documentation of Client Requirements.
  • Collaborate with e-billing vendors to address issues and execute client-specific needs.
  • Follow up on invoices pending upload.
  • Support the e-billing Technical Specialist in various maintenance tasks.
  • Address ad-hoc inquiries as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in finance is preferred.
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient with technology and online platforms.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with E-Billing systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of VAT is a plus.
