Domus Recruitment is collaborating with a client seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to manage their residential facility that caters to adults with developmental challenges.

The successful applicant will possess a profound knowledge of developmental disabilities, a background in team leadership, and a commitment to promoting the principles of appropriate care, support, and culture.


Key Responsibilities of an Operations Supervisor:


• Lead, mentor, and inspire Team Leaders and Support Staff to ensure the delivery of effective, person-centered services to all individuals utilizing the facility.
• Comprehend the service specifications, including the expectations for support delivery.
• Demonstrate a passion for advocating for the rights of the individuals we serve and integrate Positive Behavior Support (PBS) principles throughout the services. A trauma-informed approach is essential.
• Oversee and report on adherence to health, safety, and security standards. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments in accordance with safe workplace practices.
• Participate in the rotational on-call system as required.

• In the absence of the Area Manager, assume responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the office and regional services.


Qualifications for the Operations Supervisor:
• Professional Qualification - NVQ Level 3 (or willingness to pursue, with full funding provided for the qualification)
• Relevant management experience, ideally within the Health and Social Care sector or with transferable skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
