About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Obstetrician to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our specialist services, you will play a vital role in advancing our Quality and Safety strategy while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Fetal Medicine services, including Complex termination of pregnancy and bereavement services.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care.
  • Participate in the 'hot week' system, providing acute obstetric and gynaecological cover from Monday to Friday.
  • Deliver babies at our three units, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Manage gynaecology inpatients and emergencies at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, supplemented by an early pregnancy service and day-case service at Maidstone hospital.
