Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank Associates. As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems for our clients in the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems using PLCs, HMI systems, and other industrial automation technologies.
  • Implement and commission automation systems on-site, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and FAT documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI systems, and other industrial automation technologies.
  • Experience with EtherNET/IP, ProfiNET, Profibus, and Modbus networking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Chartered status or willingness to pursue.
