Job Description:

Our client, a leading asset management and investment advisory firm, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Credit Senior Analyst or Associate to manage a book of loans predominantly backed by Non-performing Loan portfolios originated by a major global investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of loans with a focus on corporate credit analysis and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and due diligence on potential investments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investment bankers, portfolio companies, and other industry professionals.
  • Provide regular portfolio reporting and analysis to the investment team and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the corporate credit market.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate loan asset management, portfolio management, credit risk, and/or corporate lending.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and credit metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with investment bankers, portfolio companies, and other industry professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VBA and other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of loan-on-loan or warehouse facilities.
  • Understanding of key credit risks facing the business.
