Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete end-to-end booking process, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with UK freight forwarders, overseas offices, interline partners, and Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) to facilitate efficient cargo operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in-house and airline systems, including comprehensive data capture.
  • Oversee and manage pre-bookings, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage capacity control and prioritize tasks to meet customer demands and operational requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely tracking information and post-flight updates to customers.
  • Coordinate service recovery efforts to protect customer experience and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in airline, GSSA, or freight forwarding operations.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a deep understanding of the cargo market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple initiatives and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Autonomy in the role and capacity management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills, planning, and organizational abilities.
