About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ark Victoria Academy. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students and teachers in achieving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support pupils with varying learning needs and prior attainment levels in a variety of settings.
  2. Maintain and promote high academic and behavioural expectations.
  3. Mentor and coach pupils in developing their self-confidence and aspirations for their future.
  4. Work cooperatively with all staff members to support every pupil to succeed.

Requirements
  1. Grade C/4 or above in Maths GCSE and English Language GCSE (or equivalent).
  2. Hold an undergraduate degree – ideally 2:2 or above (or equivalent).
  3. Evidence of a commitment to working positively with young people and ability to build positive and professional relationships with young people.
