Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is working with a vibrant and popular Secondary School in Camden to recruit university graduates who wish to work as Teaching Assistants to support students in their mainstream School.

Job Specification:

  • Location: Camden
  • Type of work: Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract type: Temporary to permanent
  • Full time/part time: Full Time
  • Pay: Minimum rate of pay GBP95 per day
  • Hours: 8am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of needs, including EAL and SEN
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils who require additional support
  • Run tuition groups in your subject-specific area
  • Run extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree with a 2:2 minimum in Maths, English, and Science
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
