Maintenance Technician

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to become part of a prominent facilities management organization, focusing on the East Yorkshire region.
This role encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple sites, ensuring that services and expenses remain internal. Previous experience in commercial environments, especially within the retail industry, is highly desirable.
The responsibilities include a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive building tasks, both inside and outside, which involve:

  • Building Maintenance
    • Roof - addressing leaks and conducting quarterly gutter and drain clearances.
    • Brickwork - performing repairs on walls.
    • Flooring - fixing vinyl and ceramic tiles.
    • Car Park / Yard Maintenance.
    • Roller Shutters - executing annual PPM and on-demand repairs.
  • Painting and Decorating
    • Conducting minor painting touch-ups.
  • Plumbing and Drainage
    • Clearing blockages in drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
    • Fixing leaking taps and washers.
