Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at SVC TECHNICAL LTD. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues, and implement countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design, install, and move equipment, and to develop and implement maintenance plans.
  • Utilize shift reporting and communication tools to effectively communicate with the engineering department and other teams.
Requirements
  • Recognized Electrical Engineering qualification to HNC/HND Level or equivalent level of qualifications and/or experience.
  • Electrical and/or mechanical engineering apprentice training.
  • Proven knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, including Siemens PLCs, three-phase, inverters, control panels, and sensors.
  • Experience working in a continuous manufacturing process environment using TPM and other preventative maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software or alternatives.
  • Experience in writing SOPs/Method statements and conducting formal Risk Assessments.
