About the Role

Croda International Plc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Rawcliffe Bridge site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance procedures to prevent equipment failures and downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems with manufacturing processes and supporting equipment and systems
  • Work closely with maintenance, operations, quality, and engineering teams to ensure efficient and safe production
  • Interact with external contractors to maintain and improve equipment and systems
Requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems and contribute knowledge and expertise
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Basic IT skills, including email and web applications
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety, health, and environmental standards
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a willingness to ask questions
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience with electronic maintenance management systems
  • Recognized electrical or mechanical qualification at level 3 or above, with experience in a relevant industry sector
