Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Ingredion UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for executing maintenance activities across the site, identifying parts to be ordered, and ensuring the smooth running of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical and mechanical support for the site, including routine PPMs and reactive maintenance.
  • Anticipate potential machine failures through plant walkarounds and escalate issues to the management team.
  • Carry out work in accordance with EHSQ policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Support stock control via stock takes of maintenance stores.
  • Utilize SAP to manage maintenance activities, including data inputting and resource allocation.
  • Provide feedback on maintenance plans to improve risk mitigation and enable value-adding tasks.
  • Write, undertake, or authorize permits and dynamic risk assessments as required.
Requirements:
  • Time served engineering apprenticeship or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within an engineering role.
  • Experience using a CMMS system, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers and able to understand manuals and schematics.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and instrumentation.
  • Some fabrication and welding skills.
  • HNC qualified and IOSH qualified.
  • Experience completing small-scale projects.
  • Understanding of safe working procedures, including ATEX DSEAR.
  • Experience working within a FMCG environment or food manufacturing plant.
