Position: Sales Assistant - WHSmith Concession (Bookshop & Curiocity)
Contract Type: Part Time
Working hours: 15 hours per week, including weekends and shifts with late finishes. Salary: £11.50 per hour

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm for Books & Stationery, and working effectively both independently and collaboratively to uphold our exceptional store standards. We aim for you, our customers, and our colleagues to feel proud of the experiences we create together.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing an outstanding customer experience by welcoming and engaging with all visitors.
  • Exhibiting a passion for literature and reading.
  • Being an attentive listener and skilled in sales techniques.
  • Possessing the ability to suggest products across various genres.
  • Performing stock replenishment and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.
  • Meeting high standards for product displays and visual merchandising to facilitate customer navigation.
  • Effectively merchandising a diverse range of Stationery items.
  • Collaborating with team members and offering support as needed.
