Job Summary:

DigiKape Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to take on a lead role in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Statutory Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for all statutory compliance matters, ensuring that the organization meets its obligations and adheres to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems, ensuring that all employees and stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and roles in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, council policies, and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Advice and Guidance: Offer expert advice and guidance to employees and stakeholders on health and safety matters, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and roles in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on health and safety matters, ensuring that the organization is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety management role, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Qualifications: A relevant health and safety qualification, such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex health and safety information to employees and stakeholders.
